Helping busy women slow down, reconnect, and find balance through mindful living.
About Sara
After college, I felt lost and overwhelmed with life. For the first time in my life, I developed anxiety.
The kind of anxiety where I had panic attacks and could not breathe. The kind where I was sobbing and jumped into our pool fully clothed in pajamas, because I lost control of my own body, and then proceeded to start laughing hysterically. The kind of anxiety where I didn’t feel like myself.
I started doing yoga for my back pain, and it unexpectedly eased my stress and anxiety. After practicing yoga regularly (for about 20 minutes at a time), I started having way less panic attacks, and was less stressed overall. When I did get overwhelmed and stressed, I knew tools that could help me calm down: breathing techniques, going for a walk outside, gratitude, doing a short 5-minute yoga flow, journaling, etc.
The amount of peace that yoga has brought me is indescribable. I’m not exaggerating when I say that a short amount of yoga in the morning makes me feel great the rest of the day. This is why I decided to learn more about yoga, become certified to teach, and share it with as many stressed and anxious people as I can.
Because it helped me tremendously.
And I want to help you too.
